Timmerman Group LLC consists of a group of IT professionals who work together as consultants in various aspects of Information Technology. Their emphasis and area of expertise is in large triple-play networks that provide data, VOIP, and IPTV services.
Timmerman Group LLC was founded in 2006 by Roger Timmerman in order to provide consulting opportunities for several IT professionals looking for side work. Most of the work that Timmerman Group LLC performs is related to the Timmerman Group LLC members' experience in IPTV and triple-play fiber networks. Timmerman Group LLC provides a way for municipalities, business, and anyone interested in triple-play FTTH networks to have access to experienced professionals in the industry. In addition to FTTH networks, Timmerman Group LLC provides information and services related to Network Design, Network Security, Web Development, Home Theaters, CCTV and IP Camera Security Systems.
Timmerman Group is located in Lehi, Utah and services businesses in Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. On-site services are typically only offered in and near Utah and Salt Lake Counties, but arrangments may be made for other areas.
The founding member and managing director of Timmerman Group LLC is Roger Timmerman. He currently works as the Manager of Network Engineering for UTOPIA, a state-wide fiber optic network providing digital video, voice, and data services to cities throughout Utah in an open-access network. He also worked for several years as a network engineer for the iProvo FTTH network and has experience working in other large networks. He has product development experience having worked for a time as the product manager of Brigham Young University's network systems. In addition to his employed experience, he has several years of experience in web development including user interface design, back-end programming, and databases design/operations.
